I am pleased to inform you that the Georgia Institute of Technology 
has approved your application to enter the graduate program in 
Computer Science in the Fall 2003 Semester, with full graduate 
standing.   Please accept our congratulations.

I regret that the College will not be able to offer you any form of 
financial assistance.  We simply do not have sufficient funds.  You 
can access information about funding opportunities at 
http://www.grad.gatech.edu/fellowship/support.html, about Graduate 
Co-op opportunities at http://www.grad.gatech.edu/coop/index.html, 
and about Georgia Tech Research Institute employment opportunities at 
http://www.gtri.gatech.edu/students/index.html.  All three are 
sources you might consider as a vehicle for aiding your finances. 
Also, in a few cases, M.S. students participate on research projects 
in the College.  This usually occurs as you become familiar with the 
faculty and their needs after you have been in the program for a 
period of time.  In addition, other sources of support are available 
from other units on campus. 

The Graduate Admissions Office will be sending you a form from our 
Student Health Service which you are asked to complete (both sides) 
and mail to the address indicated at the top of the form.

The graduate programs of the College of Computing are highly 
competitive and only a small number of qualified applicants can be 
accepted.  I shall, therefore, appreciate it if you would inform me 
as soon as you have made a decision about entering our program by 
returning the attached reply form by mail or by fax to (404) 385-0965 
by May 23, 2003.  Our faculty and I look forward to you joining us.
